Team

Puts an entity, and everything inside it, on a team: any genre’s team, the same one a turn order’s Teams, a strategy faction or a network game’s Teams name. Allies don’t hurt each other (touch damage, bumps, hitboxes, weapons), are friends to tactics units and card hands of their team, take turns on their team’s turn, and collect and pay with their team’s items (an Inventory whose For Team is theirs, or their strategy faction’s resources). Give it to what has no team of its own: a platformer hero joining a tactics side, a boss a match-3 board fights.

Each is listed as its key in the scene file and the MCP tools, then its kind of value, its default and what it does.

  • name: text = “Player”. The team’s name, e.g. “Blue” or “Player”. Empty puts it on no team. (Names a team: this entity’s own, which other fields can name.) (Field: a name.)

Scripts use it as Team: its methods, events and values that aren’t saved with the scene.
